Global Buffet in Oswego

The food here is okay. They have mostly Chinese and American food. Your drinks are served by a waitress, but you have an all-you-can-eat self serve buffet. Some items were french fries, teriyaki chicken, orange chicken, rice, wonton soup, green beans, potato salad and sushi, with cream puffs, cake and jello for dessert.

What you expect from a small town chinese buffet, but still great!

You can tell this place is not long to be open. I have heard that the Heath department has closed them several times and I can see why. The place is not clean at all the food is subpar.After eating there I had immediate bathroom issues for the next 24 hours.

The food isnt fresh if you show up after lunch or before dinner. Hit or miss quality. Save your money and find a better buffet in syracuse. Very overpriced for the low quality food

I've been here for lunch a handful of times over the years. The food seems to be inconsistent in quality. Some items are better than others. Service isn't bad. They take plates away and are good at refilling beverages. Not bad to grab a quick bite for lunch. It's not terrible, but don't expect to be blown away by the food.

Nope....food not good, place needs a good scrubbing, buffet bar was sticky feeling. Dirty dishes and way over priced for the quality of the food, waitress was eating her lunch the entire time we were there and waiting on customers and clearing dishes and never saw her wash her hands. WILL NEVER GO BACK!!! IF I COULD GIVE A 1/2 ☆ I WOULD!

The other reviews saying that the food at this buffet is very American are all on-point. This is not necessarily to say that the food was low in quality, but it was not particularly exceptional either. It's also hard to tell if the price was worth it due to the lack of variety. If you need to satisfy a particularly strong hankering for some Chinese buffet food, this place'll get the job done, just don't expect anything exotic or exciting.

Nice place to have lunch with a wide selection of food to choose from. The coffee is always good and the wait staff is always smiling and nice.

I'm from New Jersey. I never knew food could taste this bad! The second we sat down all of the silverware was sticky. Should have left then. All 3 of my kids complained about everything tasting bad. (They never complain when at a restaurant) When we tried the sushi the rice was very dry and tasted very different. We all had stomach aches when we got home and felt dizzy. The desert didn't even taste right. They didn't have central air. Just a portable one at the front desk. I will NEVER go to another chinese buffet in oswego.

A true Chinese buffet. Good price too. With a small store on the side in it.

Decent Chinese buffet. Prices are good, food is good, wait staff is pretty excellent. Drinks are included. Lomein, crab Rangoon, spicy chicken with onions, are some of my favorites here. Only thing to be aware of is if you are not paying in cash there is a service charge for using your debit or credit card which is calculated by a % of you Bill. Would definitely recommend.

The food was pretty good food was $53 for a family of six at lunch time. Much cheaper than other buffets I've been to.

Food always came out in little portions at a time.And only tastes good when it's fresh, if not. It's pretty mediocre. I was surprised to see such little on the buffet despite all the pictures showing full and fresh looking food. However the staff was pretty alright. But wouldn't recommend this place.

We go there about twice a month. Very friendly staff and have never left hungry. It is about average for the Chinese Buffets that we have dined at in many parts of eastern USA. As with most buffets a lot depends upon the hour you eat. If in slow times things can be a bit stale for lack of a better word, and if busy, very fresh and good. Price is not prohibitive for the whole family to go.

Food was old tasted like it was out for a while. Soda tasted a little flat and the ice cream "freezer" was kinda nasty. Used to love this place as a kid and its just not the same.

This was very discussing I would not recommend you to come here and waste your money and they give you paper plates and paper bowls it is pretty sad that they can not even get there own regular bowls and plates. Also when I went to go get food this one guy said r u serous because of the plates

I have always been satisfied with the food here. The service has been great also.

Food was gross. Cold, no flavor or bad flavor. It was so bad I spit it back on the plate. When I said something they still made me pay even though I didnt eat. That was a expensive soda. I will never be back. Ended up having to pay for dinner twice because I had to eat somewhere else.

Pretty friendly staff and excellent food. I love their coconut shrimp. A good variety on any given day, reasonable prices, and not a bad location. My favorite in the area
